Base Camp is the heart of every Echoes Expedition.

It's where we gather for meals, relax after hikes, enjoy morning coffee, swap stories around the fire, play games, and build the kind of friendships that often last long after the weekend ends.

We've intentionally created Base Camp to feel welcoming, comfortable, and community-focused. It's a place where strangers become friends and adventures become memories.

Difficulty Level

Moderate

Participants should be comfortable walking several miles over uneven terrain and spending two nights camping outdoors. No technical hiking or climbing experience is required.

Weather Policy

Nature is part of the adventure.

Echoes Expeditions operate rain or shine whenever conditions are safe. Activities, routes, and schedules may be adjusted due to weather, park conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances to provide the safest and best possible experience.

If severe weather or park closures prevent the expedition from operating safely, guests will be notified promptly, and available rescheduling or credit options will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 10 or more days before the expedition are eligible for a full refund.

Because campsites, food, guides, permits, and logistics are reserved well in advance, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made fewer than 10 days before the expedition, including no-shows or early departures.

Reservations may be transferred to another participant with prior approval from Echoes of Texas.
